Why isn’t Garo the one?
Up to now, not a single inquiry for him. Oh yes, we know—and you can probably guess why. Garo isn’t a young dog; his birth year is 2016. He has spent around five years in the shelter. He’s black. Easy to overlook.
But that’s only because you haven’t seen this side of him—the side that shows he’s just like the dogs lying next to you at home, warming their aging bones… never thinking about Garo.

Garo is the perfect companion, a dog you can walk with anywhere without worry. He follows you step for step, perfectly, right at your side. And while we often say that adopting an older dog is much easier than raising a puppy, people tend to think we’re trying to “push” seniors on them.

But why would we ever push something that is simply the best?
If someone in your family—perhaps an older person—counts their days in quiet loneliness and needs a gentle companion, write to us. What Garo asks for is so little. What he deserves is everything.

Garo is neutered, microchipped, good on a leash, and absolutely crazy about his ball.
And among all his Christmas wishes, one is underlined twice:
