Vida is a shy, quiet girl but extremely loving once she gets to know you. She is cautious with new people and you’ll need some time to gain her trust, but when you do, it’s so worth it.

Vida is not fit for shelter life. She would be infinitely happier in a warm, loving home and would shower you with gratitude for it. She needs someone patient who is willing to work with her—she doesn’t understand how to walk on a leash yet, and the concept still scares her.

We found Vida as a puppy together with her brother Yoda when they were only two months old, and they grew up in the shelter. Yoda was lucky enough to be adopted by an amazing family, and with their gentle guidance he has opened up beautifully and is now living his best life. Vida deserves the same chance.

Vida lives peacefully alongside her four kennel mates and often finds comfort in being close to them when she feels anxious. This gentle soul would surely bring a loving, calm presence to any home.
