Additional Information

Kika is the undisputed star of the shelter—a little miracle wrapped in joy, strength, and pure determination. We found her in a field, dragging her back legs behind her after getting hit by a car. Her hind legs had to be amputated, and from there began months of physiotherapy to strengthen her core and front legs so she could use the wheelchair we prepared for her.

And she tackled it all like an absolute champion.
But here’s the thing: Kika never truly took to the wheelchair, no matter how many versions we tried. Instead, she made her own choice—charging through life on her two front legs with the speed and confidence of a dog who refuses to be defined by anything missing. She runs, plays, explores, and rules the yard as if having two fewer legs means nothing at all.

Kika’s personality wins over every single person who meets her. She’s overflowing with happiness and affection, loves her food, and has zero hesitation telling every other dog who’s boss. She’s living proof of just how resilient dogs are—how they can bounce back from anything and still greet the world with a smile.
