She’s the dog who’ll melt into you for cuddles… once you’ve earned her trust.
Bucka is house-trained, super chill, sleeps through the night, and listens beautifully. She walks well on the leash and is amazing with puppies. She might live with another dog, but it would be important to see if they are a good fit first.
She’s survived mistreatment and carries trauma, and she has bitten people in the past — so she needs an adult-only home, no children, and someone experienced with nervous dogs who would be willing and able to work with her. Ideally, a couple or single person who can visit her several times before adoption to build that bond.
A calm routine, patience, and time will let her shine. She may need a muzzle around people on walks, but for the right person, she’ll be the most loyal friend you’ve ever had.
